Softel Introducing an excellent 1550nm high-power multi-port EDFA specially designed for EPON/GPON/XGS-PON networks. With an array of unique features and impressive apps, this device is sure to elevate your communication experience.
The device comes with an optional optical switch, providing the flexibility of single or dual inputs. Built-in optical switches for dual inputs can be operated using front panel buttons or network SNMP. The switch allows threshold setting and manual or automatic selection, ensuring maximum convenience and ease of use.
The output of the unit is adjustable via front panel buttons or network SNMP, with a range down to 4dBm. In addition, the maintenance function comes with a one-time down attenuation of 6dBm, allowing easy fiber hot-swap operation without shutting down the device.
The device is also available with optional output ports, which can be customized according to the customer's requirements. Port options are extensive with 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 ports to choose from. You can also choose from 1310/1490/1550WDM options with a maximum total output power of up to 40dBm. The device has SNMP standard RJ45 port for remote control and provides a web management function. It also comes with a laser key to turn on/off the laser, an RF test function (according to the customer's request), and a high-quality laser to ensure stable operation.
The mutli-port fiber optical amplifier is equipped with a microprocessor that actively monitors the working status of the laser, and the LCD displays the device's functions and fault warnings on the front panel. It is equipped with dual power supplies, an optional hot-swappable, which ensures high-quality performance even in different voltage ranges of 90V-265V AC or -48V DC. This device is an excellent choice for FTTH, FTTx,xPON, and other applications, providing the ability to fully utilize existing fiber resources to achieve network upgrades and capacity expansion.
The device also supports IP QAM narrow insertion data service to ensure faster and smoother communication. Upgrade to 1550nm high power multiport EDFA for superior communication capability.
